Nehru Centre London, cultural wing of the High Commission of India, W1K 1HF

Brahm is a Sanskrit word, it does not connote gender. In Hindu spiritual scripture the word is used to describe ‘absolute truth’ or ‘supreme energy’. ‘Aham Brahmasmi’ means ‘I am that absolute truth’, which means ‘I am the part and parcel of that energy.’

Panellists include:
Srimati Alaka Inamdar, joint general secretary of Rastra Sevika Samiti
Dr Vidula Ambekar, Saha Karyawahika, Hindu Sevika Samiti
Judge Sujata Sharma
Baroness Sandip Verma

The event promises to be an invigorating and thought-provoking evening in honour of women’s contributions globally
